GT interviews

Talking about my own interview , it goes fine. The teacher who interview me are Ms. Picco and LIU XUELEI. They are both very nice teacher. They asked me 4 to 5 questions and I respond it very well. I do feel nervous but totally it’s pretty good. The most bad thing is basically I’m nervous and I do have lots small stops when I was talking. But the good thing is I understand what is the teacher asked and I know how to answer it. And I have lots of eyes contact.

Academic integrity

Academic integrity is the moral code or ethical policy of academia, which basically include no-cheating, no-plagiarism. It also means that at the time that we get knowledge, we are also free to develop our own ideas and share our insights and feelings. In lots of schools, academic integrity is mostly shown at tests, homework, and labs. In these categories, proper quotation and free-communication is necessary. No mater it is formal writing or oral communication , it must build on respect. We must avoid copy or plagiarism. The reason why students need to maintain absolute integrity is they need to learn how to respond with their own behavior. And copy is unfair to others and themselves. If they always cheat , when the time that they can’t cheat, they will fail and nervous. When they are caught because of cheating, they will face a big trouble that they can’t solve.
